We have travelled to the North Shore and to the West by rental car (stopping off at all the malls in between!), we have walked countless miles to cafes, restaurants and shops and everywhere the smiling, friendly and accommodating faces of the locals is evident.
Oahu is truly a beautiful place. Yes there is a very ‘commercial’ side to it but it is stunning all the same. So much to offer and the atmosphere is just amazing – everyone is HAPPY!
The kids have been swimming every day and the last two days in particular have been a real treat weather wise. We have witnessed, and captured on film, fantastic sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Magic!
Never have we gone to bed (…..or woken up…!) hungry. The meals are massive and even Jakob is starting to crave salad which is quite funny.
So today we fly out to Maui. It will be a 35 minute flight to the next stage of our adventure. We are looking forward to a whale watching trip we have organised and other great adventures along with, of course, more sun, surf and all that Maui has to offer.
Until then, Aloha, from the Harris’.
Below is a serious of snapshots as we were walking to dinner last night.....
