Today we arrived in Maui. I literally drove from the airport to the hotel with tears in my eyes. This island is just beautiful beyond words! It has such a special magical feel to it. The drive to our hotel was along the coast line and the kids and I were kept occupied by WHALES blowing water in the air and breaching and jumping as if to say “welcome to the Harris Family”. Unreal!
We arrived at our condo and literally drew breath when we walked in. The photos don’t do it justice and I sit typing this listening to the waves crashing below our balcony! Within 10 mins of arriving again we were treated to TWO whale sightings!!
Chris and I went across the road to the supermarket to get some supplies. Rum, wine and beer and the odd grocery item thrown in! Ouch…. another expensive outing! Oh well – we feel so incredibly blessed to be here, it’s going to be soooooo hard to leave!
We headed into the Whalers Village on Ka'anapali Beach for dinner. The photos below are straight out of the little point and shoot camera. It’s like with every turn things just get more beautiful!
Dinner was at Lelani’s on the Beach. We sat watching the sunset.
